Dhar Player Terms of Use
Effective date: 4 September 2026 Last updated: 6 September 2026
These Terms form an agreement between the person purchasing or using Dhar Player ("you") and SN SMART SOLUTIONS LTD, company number 16574869, registered at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ ("we", "us" or "our"). Dhar Player is published in app stores under the developer display name NABIL.
By purchasing, activating or using Dhar Player, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase, activate or use the service.
1. The service
Dhar Player is independent media-player software. It can organise and play playlists, EPG information and media sources supplied by the user.
Dhar Player does not provide, sell, host, curate, endorse or distribute television channels, playlists, films, series or other audiovisual content. No content is included with the application or licence.
We are not affiliated with a broadcaster, content provider or third-party playlist service unless a relationship is expressly stated by us in writing.
2. Your content and authorisation
You may add only playlists, EPG sources, streams and media that you own or are legally authorised to access in the relevant country. You are responsible for confirming that your possession, access, playback and any sharing are lawful.
We do not routinely inspect or verify every third-party source. Availability, quality, security, legality and continuity of user-supplied sources are not guaranteed. Removal or failure of a third-party source is not a failure to deliver Dhar Player software.
3. Virtual MAC and pairing
The app generates a random, resettable Virtual MAC to identify that installation for pairing. It is not the device's hardware MAC, and Dhar Player does not read the real hardware MAC.
Resetting the Virtual MAC or deleting app data breaks the existing pairing. You may need to pair the installation again and may need to contact support if a licence transfer is required. You must not publish another user's Virtual MAC, playlist credentials or pairing information.
4. No end-user account
Dhar Player does not require an end-user account in the TV application. We may maintain a licence and device record using the Virtual MAC, order reference and purchaser contact information. This is not a public profile or content-sharing account.
5. Trial access
An eligible new Dhar Player installation may receive one 15-day trial. The trial begins when the first-launch notice is accepted and the installation is registered with Dhar Player. The exact start and end times are determined by our server record, not by the television's clock.
The trial is intended to let the user evaluate the media-player functions with their own lawful sources. It does not include channels, playlists or audiovisual content. When the trial ends, playback and content-library functions are paused unless an active one-year or perpetual licence is paired. Activation, playlist pairing, language, privacy, legal, support and data-deletion controls remain available.
Resetting the Virtual MAC, deleting app data, reinstalling the app or changing the device clock does not create a right to another trial. We may use proportionate, platform-approved installation proof and security records to enforce trial eligibility, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Promotional extensions, if offered, are discretionary unless required by law.
6. Licence plans
The website may offer:
- a one-year licence, which is one non-recurring payment and provides access for 365 days from activation; and
- a one-time perpetual licence, which provides a non-transferable right to use the supported Dhar Player product/service for its supported lifetime, subject to these Terms.
"Perpetual" or "lifetime" does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser and is not a guarantee that every television platform, third-party service, feature, server or app store will remain available forever. Technology, security requirements, law and platform rules change. Any device allowance, platform coverage, renewal, transfer right or promotional condition will be shown at checkout and forms part of the order.
The current one-year website plan does not renew automatically. It ends 365 days after activation and requires a new purchase to continue.
7. Consumption-only TV clients
TV applications distributed through Google Play, Amazon, Samsung, LG, Roku or another platform may be consumption-only. They may allow an existing licence to be paired and used but may not offer a purchase, display an external-purchase link or direct the user to a non-platform payment method. Any Dhar Player website link exposed in such a build is limited to device pairing or activation of an entitlement obtained through a permitted channel; it must not lead to prices or an external checkout where the platform rules prohibit that behavior.
If a platform build offers an on-device purchase, that purchase must use the billing system and terms required by that platform. Platform purchases, refunds, renewals and cancellations may therefore be administered by the relevant app store.
8. Prices, taxes and payment
Website prices are fixed in EUR, GBP and SEK, with EUR as the principal/fallback currency. We may suggest a currency from a country or browser-language signal, but you can select another supported currency before checkout. The exact selected price, currency, applicable tax treatment, 365-day or perpetual duration, and enabled payment provider are displayed before an order is placed.
Hosted checkout may be operated by Stripe, PayPal or Mollie when that provider is enabled and available for your transaction. Manual payment may also be offered. Payment-card details are handled by the provider selected at checkout; we do not require full card details to operate Dhar Player.
You must provide accurate payment and contact information and must not make an unauthorised, fraudulent or duplicate purchase. We may pause activation while a payment or fraud check is pending.
9. Cancellation and refunds
Your mandatory consumer rights are not excluded. Refund and cancellation rights depend on where you live, the purchase channel, whether activation or digital performance began with your consent, and whether the service is defective.
For a purchase made through an app store, request cancellation or a refund through that store unless the store directs you to us. For a purchase made on the Dhar Player website, follow https://dharplayer.co.uk/refunds or contact contact@dharplayer.co.uk with the order reference.
Nothing in these Terms removes a statutory right that cannot legally be waived.
10. Updates and compatibility
Supported platforms, operating-system versions, codecs and streaming formats may change. You are responsible for using a supported device and a lawful, compatible source. We may update the app for security, compatibility, legal or operational reasons.
We do not guarantee compatibility with every television, playlist format, codec, DRM system, provider or network. A platform may remove or restrict an app independently of us.
11. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, hosting failures, legal orders, platform changes, internet problems and third-party services may affect availability.
Where required by consumer law, we will use reasonable care and skill and provide remedies for a service that does not conform to the contract.
12. Acceptable use
You must comply with the Dhar Player Acceptable Use Policy at https://dharplayer.co.uk/acceptable-use. In particular, you must not use the service to access, promote, resell or distribute infringing or unlawful material, bypass access controls, expose credentials, harm systems or impersonate another service.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend a pairing or licence where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, infringement, malware, security threats, chargebacks, unlawful use or a material breach. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a route to respond at contact@dharplayer.co.uk.
We may terminate for a serious or repeated breach, a legal requirement, an unresolved security risk or permanent discontinuation of the service. This section does not remove refund or remedy rights that apply under mandatory consumer law.
14. Intellectual property
Dhar Player software, branding, interface and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Your licence is limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable in accordance with these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of the software or any third-party content.
You retain any rights you have in the playlist information you lawfully supply. You grant us a limited permission to process it only to provide, secure and administer the requested service.
15. Copyright and abuse reports
Reports can be submitted at https://dharplayer.co.uk/copyright-report or to contact@dharplayer.co.uk. We may request information needed to assess the report and may restrict a Dhar Player-controlled licence or pairing where proportionate and legally justified.
A disclaimer does not authorise infringement. Equally, Dhar Player does not become the host or publisher of a third-party stream merely because a user privately enters its URL; each report will be assessed on the facts and applicable law.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at https://dharplayer.co.uk/privacy explains how information is handled. You may unlink playlists, reset the Virtual MAC and delete local app data from Settings. Server-side deletion instructions are at https://dharplayer.co.uk/delete-data.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for unlawful user-supplied content, the acts of third-party content providers, unsupported devices, or losses caused by a source or credential outside our control. For business users only, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability connected with the service is limited to the amount paid for the affected licence in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, platform or service changes. We will publish the new effective date and give additional notice where required. A material change will not retroactively remove a consumer right that has already arisen.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections or court rights available in your country of residence.
